Playground Games is looking for a Senior Cinematic Producer to join our Fable team on a permanent basis.

About the role: 

As a Senior Cinematic Producer, you will partner closely with the Cinematics Development Teams to drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of in-game cinematic content and cutscenes for Fable. As a senior member of the production team, you will provide leadership across complex cinematic initiatives, help shape production processes and workflows, and ensure teams are aligned to deliver against the project’s creative and production goals. You will play a key role in ensuring cinematic milestones are delivered on schedule, at a high level of quality, and in alignment with the overall creative vision for the project. 

Our ideal candidate is a senior-level AAA game producer with a genuine passion for cinematic storytelling and interactive entertainment. You thrive in fast-paced development environments, have a proven track record of delivering high-quality cinematic content on large-scale AAA projects, and bring the leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills needed to drive teams and stakeholders toward a world-class cinematic experience for Fable. 

This is a permanent role based at our state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa. We have a hybrid work model in place with a minimum of 3 days a week in studio. Relocation assistance is available if required.    

What you'll bring:

  • Champion project goals and drive the delivery of AAA-quality cinematic game content in alignment with the game’s vision and technical requirements. 
  • Work closely with Cinematic leadership and development teams to plan, scope, and manage cinematic content in accordance with high-level project roadmaps, budgets, and priorities 
  • Create and maintain the cinematic department schedules & budgets. 
  • Define cinematic production workflows and processes that facilitate collaboration, clear communication, and accountability. 
  • Develop, maintain, and manage professional relationships with external development partners. 
  • Manage external partner roadmaps, schedules and content delivery. 
  • Anticipate and manage risks to quality, budget, and schedule within your area of ownership.

What you'll bring:

  • Solid understanding of cinematic and game content pipelines, including production dependencies and cross-discipline workflows. 
  • Proven experience working with cinematic teams, ideally within an AAA game development environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Highly proactive, organized, and process-driven, with excellent planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align teams and drive clear decision-making. 
  • Strong problem-solving and risk-management abilities, with a proven capacity to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to changing production needs. 
  • A genuine passion for video games and interactive storytelling. 
  • Experience with ShotGrid is a plus.
